The Orchid Forest Cikole, Lembang is the largest orchid garden in Indonesia that located in the middle of a protected forest area and stretches an area of ​​12 hectares.  There are no less than 157 kinds of orchids developed here, since the orchid forest itself focused on cultivate various orchid plants by using local and international methods.  Not only from Indonesia, which is the second country with the largest number of orchid variants the orchid plants in Orchid Forest also came from other countries, such as Venezuela, Argentina, the Philippines, Peru, and the United States. From the name of this tourism destination, many people would only think that the main attraction of this destination is the diversity kinds of orchid but that’s not the case. Most visitors came here not only to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the pine tree and diversity of orchid but the various interesting facilities provided here.

Even though this tourism destination is still not 100% finished, we can still enjoy the variety of other interesting facilities, such as a coffee corner, an artistic entrance, an outbound area, a picnic area, a playground, a children’s reading garden and many others. There are also many photo-generic spots for visitors to enjoy taking picture or documentary with green and beautiful panoramic backgrounds. Orchid Forest Cikole also provides a free golf cart as a facillity  for tourist to get around and be escorted to the beautiful places that are provided here. Another facility is a place where there are wooden stepped chairs that make up the stage stands.  This place can also be used as a place for music performances and other events with nature themes, this place is called the paphio terrace. To add to the comfort of visitors, Orchid Forest Cikole also provides a cafe where visitors can enjoy a variety of food menus without worrying about feeling hungry.  Meanwhile, for those who bring a vehicle, a large enough parking lot is also available.

For me the facillities that became the main visitors attraction is the sky bridge, a rocking bridge that is made of wood and thick white rope.  This bridge extends for approximately 50 meters above the ground  and at night the lights in this place will automatically turn on because the light sensor has been installed.  Instantly the atmosphere became even more romantic in this place. With those interesting facillities with the beautiful scenery high above the ground, visitor finds it really attractive to visit the Orchid Forest. Visitors can enjoy the scenery, feel the chill atmosphere, get a instagramable photos, and enjoy the flying fox with only IDR 20,000 per person. There’re also another facillities for visitors who like outbond such as airsoft Gun, high rope, archery, and others that can be an option to test your courage.The Orchid Forest also have a camping ground for visitors who want to stay that the packages arleady includes the cost of breakfast, bonfire, and roasted corn. With this variety of interesting facillities, it’s not strange if most visitors come here seeking the experiences of the facillities accompany with the beautiul scenery and chill atmosphere. Because i personally came here with no interest on orchids but seeks for the instagramable sky bridge and other outbond facillities as a unique leisure experiences.
