Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, has a variety of natural and cultural beauties. Not only presents a row of exotic beaches, there is also the beauty of waterfalls that have been worldwide.

One of the most famous waterfalls to foreign countries is the Benang Kelambu Waterfall. Located in the Rinjani Geopark area, this waterfall is recognized by UNESCO as a World Earth Park.

The path is not too difficult to walk, some of which are already in concrete, but there are still rocks, it only takes 20 minutes of trekking from the gate to this waterfall. Along the way is filled with natural panoramas that are still beautiful.

The situation of the forest that is still awake can be seen through the shady trees and the presence of monkeys that can be found along the path.

If the sound of waterfalls has begun to be heard and the cold and cool air has begun to be felt, it indicates that the waterfall is near.

The myth that circulates says that the efficacy of Benang Kelambu Waterfall is able to make you stay young, bring blessings, and safety.

There is also a legend that says that Benang Kelambu Waterfall is the bathing place for Dewi Anjani, a supernatural being who is believed to be the guardian of Mount Rinjani. According to a growing legend, Dewi Anjani will come down at a certain time and bathe and clean her hair in this place.

This waterfall comes from many springs that come out through gaps along the cliff. However, the cliff that was covered with lush vegetation looked as if water was coming out of it. That’s why it’s called the Yarn Kelambu Waterfall.

A thin layer of white waterfall looks so charming, just like a dangling mosquito net. The interesting thing is that you can drink the water directly, because the water comes directly from the spring.
